Stephen Hale

Strategic Advisor

Thanks to Stephen’s unique positioning within the communications sector, he recognised a significant need for alternative arrangements within the business environment. As a result, he was one of the galvanising forces within 100 Mums and continues to take on a vital advisory role, helping in the process, strategy and direction of the company. Stephen is an experienced marketing professional and Managing Director who has worked in both consulting and in-house roles, covering both consumer and B2B marketing. He recently headed up two specialist businesses for Ogilvy PR, Impact Employee Communications and OgilvyEarth. Stephen was the MD of the latter, which went on to become the leading sustainability and CSR communications global consultancy. Stephen has managed many diverse projects for clients in the FMCG, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Banking, Retail, Transport and Government sectors. Many of these programs are global award winning as was the Impact brand, which was named the B&T Specialist Agency of the Year 2008. He has developed structured approaches to key issues such as energy efficiency and employee behavioural change. He is a sought after public speaker with engagements ranging from the Government Leaders Forum, Green Brands, Enviro 2010 to guest speaker at Macquarie Graduate School classes
